I recently followed NetworkChuck’s tutorial on how to set up a Raspberry pi as a mining computer for the Monero (XMR) crypto coin. In his video it’s true that he says you wont be making much using this method, but it’s still pretty cool to just have it running while I am away. It’s been about a day and a half, and I already have a few thousandths of one coin, so, WOOHOO.

Kidding of course, not really that excited about it. But just the knowledge that it was seriously THIS easy to start it up, and the fact that it is not energy intensive at all since its a tiny credit card sized computer makes it easy to have on my conscience.

It was a lot of fun to do this small project, and i am looking forward to more in the future!
